Autumn is my favorite time of year. All of my fond memories about reading are tied to the season. Walking to the library and seeing the decorations and the new books on display. The crunching of leaves beneath my feet as I walked home with my treasure trove of books to read. It’s seriously a great time of the year all around, but it’s awesome if you’re reader. It can also be the worst, but let’s focus on the good first.
Autumn is the perfect time of year for warm drinks and fun snacks. These are optimal accessories to enhance your reading as well. Having these drinks filled with pumpkin and creepy treats just get the reader in a better mindset and they also make great photos as well. And who doesn’t love an amazing look fall photo with their favorite read? No one. Everyone loves these photos. It’s just facts.
Autumn is sweater and scarf weather. I can’t think of anything better than throwing on a cute scarf to take a trip to the library or the bookstore. You can also snuggle up on the couch with your favorite book in a comfy sweater or nice blanket. Sounds like the most amazing time, right?

There are so many books which come out in September, October, and November, the TBR just grows. It makes for a crazy TBR along with a really long Christmas list for books. How does one choose which books stay and go? It’s truly a dilemma so hard to deal with.
And these are my best and worst traits of the autumn season for readers. I’d love to know if you have any positive or negative. Let me know below. I hope everyone is enjoying Blogtober, it’s so much fun. It’s getting me excited for Blogmas.
Until I rant about books again,
