I’m from Wisconsin. Specifically, Milwaukee. If you’re from here or a true crime fan, you know what that means.
If not, I’m from the same city as Jeffery Dahmer and state as Ed Gein. Since I know these so well, I’m not going to talk about them. You can look them up if you’re interested. Also, Milwaukee does a tour about Jeffrey Dahmer called Cream City Cannibal. You can find info here. I still have not gone on this tour, but I’d love to sometime.
They also have a tour called Milwauking Dead which states:
The Milwauking dead
Watch for the new iteration of this epic tour, where we put the focus in
2019 upon the BLOODY THIRD WARD of Milwaukee.
Filled with tragedy and disaster, the Milwauking Dead Tour covers over 150 dead bodies in a mile and a half. City Hall suicides, hotel fires, sinking ships, and desperation all swirl through macabre tales of Milwaukee’s dark side of history. Though not a ghost tour, you cannot help but feel the presence of loss all around you in this one-of-a-kind nighttime tour event. – 90 minutes. Outdoor.
This is another one I’m super interested in, but they are still researching so I’ll have to stay on top of that to see when its available.
Milwaukee does have a few ghost stories though.
Mostly, I feel like the major creepy factor of Milwaukee is Jeffrey Dahmer. Here’s an article about his impact on Milwaukee.
What’s your local ghost story? I bet it’s cool, but I find it hard to beat being from Milwaukee just because of Dahmer alone. Talk to me about ghosts and creepy things. I love them.
