End of the Year Book Tag [Tag Post]

I saw this going around so I thought it would be fun to do.

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

There are so many books I need to finish. I have four right now I should finish before the new year. I just keep watching Hulu and wasting time on Twitter though. I don’t know if I’ll ever learn, honestly. I just need to use my phone and Twitter less. All of that stuff will be there when I’m done, but no hold Library books won’t be. I guess I’ll be finishing Queen of Nothing soon, so that’s a series I started I’ll be actually finishing this year. I’m excited about the end, it’s been a tough time waiting. I’m ready though.

Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?

No. I just read what I want. Though I did start reading Christmas romance books from NetGalley in September which shifted gears to being like, well… the end of the year is coming. Kind of, I guess? How much does that count though?

Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?

The new release I’m waiting for is the latest SJM book, but this will not be released til next year. I’m also waiting for my hold on the new Ali Wong book to come through.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

All the books I’m currently reading at the moment. It’s four, and I know I’ll get them done. I’m reading Split Second by Kasie West, The Queen of Nothing, Know My Name, and The Most Fun We Ever Had. I just need to focus and read, not waste my time online.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?

I’ve already added The Queen of Nothing to my favorite shelf on Goodreads…

Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?

I have a blog post about some reading goals. I’m also still deciding on the number of books for the Goodreads Challenge.

I tag anyone who wants to do this, so if you’re reading this, do it. I’d love to see your answers.

Share and Enjoy !

  1. i’m so glad that you like QoN more than I do! for me, it was a little mediocre, but I’m happy that it’s a fave for some. not gonna lie, I’m also anticipating the new sjm book even though I haven’t read an sjm book in years (and don’t plan to), because it’ll be interesting to see her write about something that isn’t fae.

    1. I think QoN will definitely be hit or miss for many. It was good, but it could have been so much more as well. I knows lot of people love it, but I’m not surprised a lot of people are disappointed. And I’m just always excited for anything SJM because that’s who I have become as a person.
