Accidental Target by Theresa Lynn Hall

Accidental Target by Theresa Lynn Hall

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Accidental Target starts out with a punch immediately. Allison is driving to see her sister and comes upon a truck in an accident, when she is trying to help, she is shot at it because she may her seen something she was not supposed to see. She ends up in a car crash on her on own, and she is found by a police officer named Jackson. Once he has learned Allison is in danger, he wants to do everything he can to protect her and keep her safe. The action doesn’t stop in this story, never leaving the reader a moment to catch their breath because there is so much happening up until the end.

The pacing in the story is well done, and I was invested the whole time. The story is well written, and I was surprised by who the killer was. Overall, it is a strong suspense book for those who want the mystery without too much gore or violence like some other books. The clean romance is well done too. Both are dealing with their pasts, but they want to move on. They take the time to build a relationship and learn to care for each other. I found the romance to be very sweet and strong, definitely a plus for those who enjoy the Christian aspect of the romance since this is the foundation of their relationship.

As I have said before, I am not a Christian but I enjoy these books. The suspense is still there but lighter when I need a break from some of the darker books I read. I cannot recommend these books enough for those who want lighter suspense and romance.
