My Review:

4 stars

A short read that will get you in the mood for the holidays. I had no idea how popular this author was when I signed up, but I can see why Liz Fielding is such a popular romance author. She writes stories which evoke all the right type of emotions.

I liked the relationship from the start. There is passion, but it is real too. There is no perfect right away. They have to work through issues and grow to become a stronger couple. This is the type of story I like to see because it rings true to real life. Chloe and James seem like real people falling in love. I could not get enough of the book. They also have established lives and history, making this even more believable.

The setting of Paris was perfect. It made me swoon and wish I could spend some time there. But reading this book was just as good. I got to take a trip in my mind. Plus, I did not even have to pay for the air fare. Haha. Overall, this is the perfect story for the holidays. I loved it so much.

  1. Thanks so much for inviting Chloe and James’ to your blog, Maggie and for loving their story. I’m so glad that you felt they were “real” and enjoyed the Paris setting – I certainly enjoyed the long weekend I spent there last November on a “research” trip!
