If you know me or follow me, you will know I have read a lot of books this year. How did I do it? I do not know, but I am proud of myself. I hope to keep 2021 just as full of books, but we will see what school brings and if I start working again at a library next year. But this year, I was able to get to almost 500 books so far. Which is awesome.

But I also want to say, it does not matter how many books you read. It is all about how much you enjoy the books. If you read 5 books, awesome. Even just one. As long as that book makes you happy. That is really all I have to say on the subject.

I read all formats. I listen to audiobooks and do graphic novels too. I read all of the things, and this does not even include all of the books I read to Ever. But I am so happy he loves books, and I hope this will continue on as he grows up. It would be my favorite thing to be raising a reader.

This is also what I realized this year about my reading: things do change.

At the moment, I am done with YA fantasy. I am so burnt out on it, I never want to see it for a long time.

I am having fun reading favorites from the past decade I have loved. This is something I have been doing more recently, and it is great to do. Sometimes the book hold up and other times, they do not.

I have been reading a lot of thrillers. Which is okay. Maybe I will move to more thrillers and cozy mysteries. Who knows?

NetGalley is getting easier to enjoy. Now that I am getting caught up on books and not requesting, I do not feel so stressed as often.

I am ready for December and to end the year well. I do not think I will be doing Blogmas full time, but I may have some posts for you all to enjoy. Stay tuned and see.

Share and Enjoy !
