Book Reviews, NetGalley

Recent NetGalley Reads [Mini Reviews]

Recently, I have been working on catching up on NetGalley books. Since I wrote shorter reviews for these few books, I thought I would just share them all together. A huge thanks to NetGalley and respective publishers for the ARCs in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

You Have a Match by Emma Lord

This was such a sweet book.

My favorite part was this was much more than a romance. It’s about family and connections. Although I do love a good romance, seeing family and friends in this book just made me
So happy. It was a phenomenal book, and I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in just one day.

Abby and her passion for photos is great. It’s also awesome seeing her making new connections and sorting out her life. She isn’t perfect and nor are the choices she makes. She is human and flawed, like we all are especially as teens.

This is such a great YA book that I think many teens will love and adults too.

Thank you NetGalley and Wednesday books for the advanced review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The Lodge by Chris Coppel

I don’t know if I have the right words to say how much I liked this book.

This is a unique idea. I’m not a horror fan but this caught my attention. Animals getting revenge. Yes please. I’m almost positive the reason I love this book so much is that I’m a vegan so I didn’t see the villain as the villain. Oops. Unpopular opinion.

This was creepy and well done. I liked it so much I finished it in just one day and have not been able to stop thinking about it. I genuinely enjoyed the horror aspect and the entire story. I think it’s is well done.

I actually found this funny too since I was vegan when the animals were taking their revenge. So maybe this is also why I loved the book, it just seemed funny to me.

Honestly such a unique book I will be recommending to all of my friends and vegan friends too. This book is awesome.

A huge thank you to NetGalley and Trubador for the advanced review copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Share and Enjoy !
